The ceremony celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Doolittle Raid during World War II was held at Ellsworth Air Force Base on Thursday. A B-25 Mitchell, the type of aircraft that took part in the raid, sits as a static display for people to tour and learn about. Author Craig Nelson spoke during the ceremony as did representatives from the current iterations of the four squadrons that took place in the raid, three of which are at Ellsworth.
